Tom is a very competent mechanic. Very polite and honest, clearly he has a lot of experience and knew exactly what he was doing. Having serviced and repaired my own car for decades, my observations of the way he went about the job gave me confidence to highly recommend him. Further to the planned work, he fixed the aircon and confirmed to me the cause of knocking from within the dashboard.

Tom was friendly, not punctual, didn’t arrive when arranged, had to chase up, rearranged and was late again.
Advised I needed a new boost pressure sensor, after replacing this there was no difference and the issue continued and if anything worsened post Tom’s assessment. Text to advise what to do......no reply......phone and left message but again no reply. £100 waisted

Hi nick, hope you're well. The fault in question was correctly diagnosed with the boost pressure sensor reading over the resistance that it should have read. I advised it to be replaced and that should clear that problem. There were multiple other issues that I made you aware of at the time and resolved at no additional cost. No diagnosis can be 100% accurate if there are multiple generic faults present and having cured 4 of the faults present the one remained that you speak of now on this review. I tried to help you by advising to replace the tested faulty sensor yourself to try and save you some money and being late at night a part couldn't be sourced locally and would be a easy fix for yourself.

I try to be on time for all my appointments but due to the nature of the business and how vehicles are we can't all get around and run like clockwork although we make every effort to do so 😊 regards. Take care and have a great Christmas. Tom

Tom was polite, efficient and friendly. He arrived on time and began work immediately. Afterwards he explained to me what was wrong with the car and what to say to the repair garage etc etc.
Although the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, i was happy with his assessment and the price paid.
