Mechanic had received instructions from yourselves to carry out a diagnosis.
I fully described the problem in my first contact with you which described the fault in some detail as resulting from a previous mechanic trying to re-programme the door control module.
I asked for a quotation to re-programme the door control and this is what you quoted me for as described in your reply to me.
The mechanic confirmed that re-programming was required but said that he did not have the equipment required to carry this out.
The door is now still in the same condition as when the mechanic arrived and the work still requires to be done.

Richard was great. He turned up when he said he would. He was a great communicater and kept in touch. Unfortunately, the dealership gave him the wrong parts, so he had to go away & collect the correct parts. I'd gone to work by the time he came back, but he completed the work and left the car keys with my flatmate as we'd arranged.
