Daniel done a great job on the car but the guy who collected it was 4 hours late, & that was after it was rearranged 4 days later because their ramp broke which was not a problem, but on the rearranged date I was phoned at 8.45 saying they'd be up to collect the car first thing & the car wasn't collected until 13.30 I sat up waiting as I work night shift, I would've loved to be told they'd be that late, as I could've went to bed for a few hrs, I phoned at 10.30 to see where they were and I was told they should've been with me 10 mins ago, in the end the car was kept overnight, although a courtesy car was provided, great job was done on the car, but the punctuality & communication wasn't great, would definitely use Daniel again as he seems to be a great mechanic, but the punctuality & communication needs to improve, not having a go, but the reason I used clickmechanic. com was to allow me to go to work & sleep as normal,I was delighted with the work performed on my car, but overall it was just a barely satisfactory experience, maybe it was just a bad week for them, I would use again, but improvements need to be made 😔👍 Read more

What can I say! Excellent from start to finish. I would recommend the service from Higgins Auto Repair to anyone. All was seamless and Daniel kept myself and my wife well informed. If you need any works done, look no further!!

It was good to get an honest opinion of the problem with the car and a reasonable price for the job to be done. Having the car collected and returned to one's doorstep is a massive extra in the whole area of car mechanics. Punctuality was not so good - neither in the collection of the car within the specified time frame or in its return. It is a unique period, however (Coronavirus) and so a release of lockdown has resulted in a glut of jobs needing to be done which will slow the best of intentions. I would use this service again however as being at home waiting for the car beats sitting in a garage waiting room every time.
