BMW 3 Series Coil spring (road spring) replacement - front (both)

It was convenient, that I didn't have to drive the car to a garage, as one of the front springs had snapped.
But unfortunately during the job that was carried out, the backing plate on the brake got bent out of shape, so I'm now stuck with an awful scraping sound whenever I drive my car.
Reported this to mechanic, but get the impression that they won't be coming out to fix this issue they caused ,as it's already been 7 days since I made the report.

Sorry about this, coincidentally I have just sent you a text message to see when you are free for me to come back and take another look.
I have damage to my wrist and have had to have a cast on due to tendon damage so have been quiet for the past few days.

Vauxhall Vivaro Original call out for handbrake cable, cable is fine, the problem is the calliper, near side rear, handbrake function of the calliper has failed, charged for call out and diagnostics.

They diagnosed the problem within a few minutes as a stuck hand break leaver which it was. They did not offer to free it off saying that it needed a new caliper. It took me a few minutes to free off the leaver with a little oil and get it working, The rear discs and pads are almost worn out but they neglected to mention this when saying that the caliper was seized so a disappointing experience this time.

I was originally called out to replace a handbrake cable, when inspecting the vehicle the cable was clearly not broken, the lever on the calliper was stuck in the on position, as if the handbrake was applied, whilst this can be freed off, the wheel was still spinning free even with the lever pulled into the handbrake applied position, this would suggest that the calliper was at fault. Whilst I put down diagnoses on the job sheet, the main part was a call out fee, for travelling to a location for a job that was mis diagnosed by someone else.
Would be interested to know if the calliper is actually functioning, or is the lever just moving freely now.
Also, just to add that the thickness of the brake pads/discs was not relevant to the basic function of the parking brake.

Ford Transit Diagnostic Inspection

Mechanic very friendly and helpful. Gave my son, some good advise for the future. Confirmed quickly that it was the head gasket. Would be very happy for him to do the work to replace the head gasket, at the price quoted but he lives in Leek, which is a fair distance. I would like the work done as quickly as possible next week, at the price quoted and agreed.
