Mechanic turned up over an hour late, also came with the wrong parts so had to go back amd return to complete the job. not impressed at all!

Theo, was a little late but he did phone to say that he was on his way but there was heavy traffic.
When he arrived he apologized for the late arrival, Theo sorted the problem and did a repair in a very short time. His work was good and he left the job clean and tidy.

Overheating BMW Mini. I had initially called a local Mini specialist garage to book the car in for investigation & repair. I suspected it was a dodgy thermostat - but the garage thought the water pump was likely to be the issue (engine removal required to repair)... I wasn't confident in the garage's opinion.

I found ClickMechanic and got a quote of less than £100 for fitting a thermostat - hence went ahead and booked a slot at a time of my choosing (2 hr window).

Theo turned up when expected and appeared confident that it wouldn't take long to replace the thermostat (which requires battery + battery tray removal to access). ..

I was amazed when he knocked on the door to tell me he was done. He showed me the old part - which was proven to be faulty and stayed until he was confident that the cooling system was working properly.

He was very helpful. I needed him to look at my engine oil and air filter to confirm my car servicing was done. And he happily did.

Theo was very knowledgeable and fixed it in a jiffy. he knew exactly what the fault was. He also spent time on explaining what had happened and how he had fixed it.
