Nissan Juke Timing belt replacement

Mechanic was late for booking and required numerous messages to confirm new ETA. Work on CAM belt was completed though an engine bolt was lost and has still not been replaced, a cover was broken. Thought the resolution centre the company has claimed the cover was already broken and the bolt was rusted despite the mechanic offering to fit the missing bolt the following day, as he had lost it in the failing light. I was videoed without my consent and knowledge and an edited transcript was used in claims made when I tried to resolve the case. Additional work was identified by the mechanic which I made another payment for but my car is now off the road and I have little confidence that this work was correct or necessary (see separate one star video), I am sure they can compete some work but I would not trust them with anything overly complex. Its a great shame that in our last week on Clickmechanic James and our staff had to deal with this type of case.
Dealing with the general public is difficult at times.
All of our equipment and staff record events in clearly marked cameras to record and can be reviewed.
Your address in the new forest was vague and with no phone signal communication was difficult.
We attended a non running car with a timing belt issue.
And that was replaced correctly and your car could then be started .
Your car could then be heard for the first time and it was clear it had a number of issues.
We had to witness the verbal abuse you gave out on site.

You have made numerous phone calls and each one you have made a different statement.
On the warranty visit again you then changed your story.
Your car is high mileage with no maintenance over certainly the last few years.
Your objection to the camera is simply your confession you made to our mechanic after you had calmed down.
You have made threats and of course one of these was to put a bad review on here.
We have asked you a number of times to provide proof and of course you haven't.
We have explored every individual complaint you have made and footage shows a very different story.

Nissan Juke Stripping and sorting engine out

Mechanic arrived two hours after the end of the booked time with no explanation, carried out work on my engine which was vague in purpose. Work was completed in two hours less than the billed time. Despite a vibration and noise coming from the engine the mechanic Assured me that the car was fit to drive and then the car broke down within 5 miles of driving necessitating an RAC tow. The RAC mechanic identified the cause of the vibration and engine noise immediately. Work was concluded with a lost bolt and broken casing. The company has seeked to refute any and all claims I have made through the resolution centre placing profit over customer satisfaction. Please note this company videos you without your knowledge or consent and will attempt to use this footage in any claim you make for poor workmanship. My car remains off the road. Read more

All of our equipment has cameras and our staff wear clearly seen body cameras.
Your car was a non running car to start with and when the slipped timing belt was replaced the car did start however the full extent of the faults where then found.
We were able to then view the verbal abuse you gave to our mechanic.
All of our office staff have had to hear you different stories hoping to get free work.
Even your claimed 2 hours over charge is in fact incorrect as you was refunded this within 2 minutes of the pre authorisation payment being made and it reached your bank account 3 days later.
Your car is a high mileage car with almost no maintenance.

With multiple issues due to owner neglect.
When it was realised after your car engine was started it had multiple faults your campaign of abuse both to James and to our staff to try and either get a full refund or for the rest of your car to be repaired for free as you had no fund's.

Peugeot 207 Auxiliary drive belt replacement

Happy that the mechanic was able to fit the aux drive belt finally, but he did struggle initially and at a certain point he asked me for help with the fittings. I do get that it is difficult to fit the belt without removing wheel assembly and any additional hand may help, but honestly I couldn’t help him much as well. Finally he had to get under the car to fit it. Overall good job done and within time.
