Arrived when Andrew said he would. Explained what he was going to do and communicated throughout the day. Worked on the car until finished.
His knowledge as a mechanic has no bounds. Very friendly and would recommend him highly.
Definitely would use him again.

Spent 10 minutes saying I need an alternator for the window. I then get the receipt through saying needs more time for wire diagnosis. The guy didn't even open the door to check the wiring. I paid £42.30 for a ten minute diagnosis and no confirmed fault to get replaced.

Tried contacting the service centre and they were pretty useless too telling me to fill in a form which will respond in 3 days. Glad to see how they deal with urgency. I said countless times how important it was to get my car repairs quickly but no one seems to care.

Glad I wasted £42.30 on your dreadful service

The mechanic was great it was click mechanic I had problems with they quoted wrong price so when Paul went for part it was more than they quoted cost me £30 extra as click mechanic had already charged my account I felt I had no choice but to pay as I would of had to wait for refund not the mechanics fault he did top notch work even gave me the old part as a souvenir 👍

It would have been nice if he had rung the bell when he returned the car. Score of 3 below, I would 'suggest' but not recommend, this is not for everybody to have your car taken away by a stranger.

That car was collected at 9.30 by Phil, and he suggested it should be ready by 4.30. It was eventually returned at 6.15! There was no communication all day as to when it would be finished. I rang Paul (the original engineer assigned) on his mobile and he rang Phil for an update, and Paul then rang me back.
I was quite worried that either the car needed major work causing delays, or Phil had had an accident.
No of your support lines were answered and just automatically hung up after many rings.
I suggest these improvements, along the lines of other collect/service companies.
1. The engineer should have Click-Mechanic ID , a worksheet to show the planned work, and they should check the general exterior condition for pre-existing damage.

2. There should be a realistic completion/deliver time and a promise to ring if this is not going to be met.
3. The worksheet should detail the work done, i.e. a tick box selection of service items completed, and a stamp by the garage who did the work. I have no idea where the garage was, just told it was in Gateshead.
I can only hope the quality of work done is good, as a timing belt change is a major job with potentially damaging consequences if not done to a high standard.
Overall a poor experience.
