Had the Starter Motor replaced on my VW Passat CC. The Mechanic was punctual and efficient. He Collected the car at 09:30 and 3 hours later I received a call from the Mechanic notifying me the work was complete. Very happy with the work carried out. I would definately use ClickMechanic again.

Paul was very friendly and explain clearly whatever there was to be done on my car. He has sent the driver to collect the car and was very punctual. He has done an excellent job so I would recommend him to my friends.

Happy with the work carried out, very disappointed with how long it took to complete the work!
The click mechanic website stated that it would take up to an hour to complete the work. The mechanic collected the car at 12:15, by 3:00 I rang to find out what was happening. I explained that I was expecting the work to take an hour and was told it was 40 minutes each way to their garage. With that in mind it should have taken until 2:35pm to complete. At 4pm I was called to say they had noticed the handbrake needed sorting out as well, but to have the work carried out I would have to leave the car with them overnight! It appears my car wasn’t looked at until 4pm as it took that long to call me with the second issue. They eventually returned my car at 5:50pm. As I’ve said I’m not unhappy with the work, I was hoping to have the work done within an hour and had this been the case I would have been a regular customer. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my whole life using a Mechanic. I had a local garage that work on my van but unfortunately I had to wait for 2 weeks before they could book my van in. I need work done on my van urgently and I found click Mechanics online. First I had several appointments that kept changing until I was told VIP mechanic was booked to carry out repairs on my van. I had my doubts when I first spoke to the mechanic Paul as he sounded not too confident to do the job. I had to chase him to see how he was doing and he told me he could not find the problem and requested I leave the van with him one more day to do a diagnostic test to ascertain the problem. And then he told me it was the wishbone that was faulty. This mechanic ripped me off. He over changed me for the parts as I found that out today from another Mechanic and also ripped me with the labour charge. When the van was brought to me the knocking sound on the van from the same area he said he changed a part was still there. Nothing changed. Same day his friend returned the van I complained and let him know I was not satisfied or happy about the job. He said if I drive the next day and not thing changed I should give him a call. I called him the next day after I had have a test drive. This Mechanic put his phone on voicemail. I called click Mechanics to report the problem. This mechanic liar about the whole thing. He came the next day with another guy who tried to defend his mate and now told me the problem was something else. I was now given a new quote for another part replacement. This is a part next to the one he said had replaced. Why did he not just change it. Apparently I found out today that this guys don't know what they are doing. The problem has become worse. My experience with this cowboy mechanic is the worst nightmare ever in my life. I had to now pay about £766 in total with no result. I have just also found out from my garage today that the parts that was changed plus labour if it was really faulty would have cost me less. I really regret using this service. Yes the mechanic seemed to be knowledgable and he was friend. The car seems to be driving fine. Before the repair the mechanic told me the part was going to be GBP20 more, but ended up charging me GBP50 more without further notification, which was a little disappointing.
