The mechanic telephoned me to confirm when he would turn up. Instead, on the day his company rang me wanting more money. I refused given that this was unexpected increase (and after he had already changed the original quote). It turns out that in refusing the revised terms and conditions your company has taken a cancellation fee.

Volkswagen Golf III Car Is Smoking Inspection

No work was done I was under the impression than if it's a minor fix I wouldn't be charged extra but instead got quoted £50 on to just to drain oil.
Reply from Andrew:
The Customer booked an inspection as to why the car was smoking, we arrived and our findings were that the oil had been substantially over filled causing the engine to smoke.We also found the oil to be leaking from the rocker case breather pipe. We then advised the customer further work was required to drain the oil and refill to the correct level.
At present the customer had only booked an inspection.
