The guy who collected car on low loader is friendly and informative car repaired to my satisfaction,their was an error with not knowing my car had to be collected between 8 to 10 o'clock in morning but when I phoned them at 12 o'clock they immediately came and promised my car would be returned the same day which they did,I would use them again in the future.

Vauxhall Astra Full Service

The week before there was an administrative error, they accepted my listed job but on the day said "The office is closed but if you can bring the car I can do the MOT today." As helpful as they tried the pick and delivery was essential.
Then on the day of the next appointment the same garage accepted my listing. They turned up 1 hour 20 minutes later, even after calling them at the end of my appointment slot they will be there in 20 - 30 minutes.
They picked up the car and do the Full Service and MOT, car runs very well, good job. However, when I looked on my MOT certificate they said they could not test the passage front seat belt because my childs seat on in place.
I guess they did not want to unclip the seat. I called them a few times due to the delays and seem the person recieving the call was getting fustrated as well.
Overall disappointed but cannot fault the work they did to the car, very noticeable improvement when I drive.

I can only apologise for the lateness of the pickup, a simple job before yours turned into a nightmare job. That being said, that should not have reflected on your job.
With regards to the MOT, the MOT rules and regulations state that we can not remove or unclip anything to test an item. It’s not us being lazy!

Great service - my car was collected in the morning and dropped back the next day late afternoon with tyres replaced and MOT completed.
I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout the whole time.

Ford Ka Cylinder head & gasket replacement

Not had an opportunity to test drive the vehicle yet, but repair took over 2 weeks for a head gasket with repeated telephone calls to check what was happening with the vehicle. Additional items were added to the bill such as starter motor and power steering fluid but with no communication upfront to indicate that these needed to be replaced. No communication, all information about repair status required a call on my part. Vehicle was collected but not delivered back.

Phil was a bit late and had an issue with what he was supposed to be doing due to a confusion with the paperwork.He did not seem very proactive either and I had to ring him for the all important post inspection verbal feedback. However he was very friendly and forthcoming when we spoke and the report was comprehensive.
