The garage broke my glow plugs when they replaced them. They then couldn't get them out. I had to find a specialist to do it or the garage would rip half the engine out, thousands of pounds, to get to it. The specialist cost £190 - the garage think I should pay that cost AND pay for their 'repair' and are refusing to return the car.

Unfortunately the customer is refusing to pay for the fitment of the new plugs and the subsequent MOT. Explained that a 15 year olds car glow plugs may not come out hunky doory so couldnt quote a job price. Never quoted thousands of pounds. Have offered a half way on labour on the subsequent 28 text messages because the customer wont talk to us.

The specialist the customer provided has also explained that the garage bears no responsibility for a rusty, seized glow plug.

Happy to return the car once an agreeable payment has been received, however wont be traveling 20 miles and doing sn mot for free
