I started my career as an apprentice Auto Electrician at a garage in Heald Green, Manchester where I gained a thorough understanding of vehicle starting and battery charging systems. After two years I moved to DC Cook (Fiat) in Manchester where I stayed for three years and completed my apprenticeship by adding serving and mechanical repairs, giving me a sound foundation on which to build my automotive career. I had two years with Mangoletsi (Alfa Romeo/Fiat) dealership before moving to Sanderson (Ford) in order to gain greater experience of more makes/models. It was around this time that Electronic Engine Management , Air Bags, ABS and other electronic systems became common place, I became a diagnostic specialist for these systems. Five years later I took my fault finding capabilities on the road - I became a patrol for The AA where I had six enjoyable years.

I set-up my own business in 2015 as Danny McGuinness Mobile Mechanic, I specialise from my experience in electrical/electronic diagnostics and my experience with both Ford & Fiat. However, I have a vast knowledge on all makes/models of vehicles so whatever the issue is, I can always help get you back on the road. I have recently purchased new Mobile Air Conditioning equipment and completed a City & Guilds qualification so I will help you stay cool during the hot summer months! Read more
