Meet The Team: Customer Experience & Account Management

Over the last few months we have grown rapidly, not only in terms of the amount of people who are getting a repair with us but also in terms of staff. We wanted to take this opportunity to put a face, and story, to the many voices you may encounter when you pick up the phone and call us. Here’s a quick overview.

Kurt – Community Manager

Kurt is our resident Dutchie, and frequently mistaken for being South African, German or French. He’s a keen writer, with a dislike of writing in the third person. Having a background in cars he currently serves to guide the customer experience team in the right direction, as well as keeping our content and social up to date. A keen driver, he hopes to one day own a Lancia Fulvia (Series 2).

Chris – Account Manager

Chris, our only team member to hold a City & Guilds in fish filleting, has been with us for many years joining from Sainsbury’s. Having moved on from being a valued Customer Experience Manager to the company’s first Account Manager he is now working to improve our relationship with mechanics.

Tim – Customer Experience Associate

Tim joined us back in 2015 straight out of a law degree. After spending some time at ClickMechanic HQ, Tim decided it was time to pick up studying again back in September last year. We were keen to retain him on a part-time basis, and is now our weekend champion. He’s there to answer any queries over the weekend.

Vinh – Customer Experience Associate

Vinh is our top performer in the customer experience team, getting problems resolved and making customers smile. Apart from that Vinh is also keen gym enthusiast, Manchester United fan, and owner of a pristine Vauxhall Astra from 2005.

Ted – Customer Experience Associate

Ted joined us a couple of months ago on a part-time basis beside his studies at King’s College, where he focuses on everything Ancient Greece. Ted has quickly taken to his role and has shown an ability to command the proverbial storms of customer experience supremely, we presume inspired by Aeolus, that divine keeper of Greek winds.

Joe – Customer Experience Associate

Joe, an avid West Ham Utd fan, joined us earlier this year, bringing a wealth of experience from a varied academic and business background. Joe has quickly made his mark, which the team has recognised by rewarding him with our employee of the month accolade in the second month of him working here. One day, once he’s got his driving licence, Joe’s keen to get behind the wheel of a classic Ford Mustang.

Harry – Customer Experience Associate

Harry has joined from a background of sports management and gaming. A graduate of the University of Winchester, he’s keen to make his mark on the team and has ambitions of eventually leading a team and his own department. With that also come ambitions of one day owning an Aston Martin DB9, we hope he will have got his driving licence by that time.
